We welcome all voluntary workers

Take part and influence

We offer the opportunity to become a part of the Medieval Festival held in the historic part of Häme castle. To create the ideal festival we need around 300 voluntary workers. Come be a part of creating the comprehensive event that has been going on for over 25 years, and you too get to enjoy the medieval atmosphere.

The schedule for volunteers

On the festival week the volunteer duties take place from August 9th to 21st.

From August 9th to 15th, when the festival is being built, the volunteers will work between 8AM and 10PM. The volunteer work will happen at either the office, Väentupa, the castle park or our storage facilities in Kantola.

On the festival days from August 16th to 18th, the volunteers will work between 6AM and 2AM. The volunteer work will take place in the team’s own work area.

When the festival is being taken down, from August 19th to 21st, the volunteer work will be between 8AM and 10PM. The volunteer work will happen at either the office, Väentupa, the castle park or our storage facilities in Kantola.

Before the festival begins, we will be training the volunteer teams for their duties if necessary, as well as hold general information conferences for volunteers. It is possible to take part in the conferences and trainings remotely.
