Banquets

At nobles banquet, distinguished guests are welcomed and the evening is hosted by the master of ceremonies. The kitchen master, on the other hand, works in the kitchen and makes sure that the finest medieval delicacies are festively brought to the table of the nobles. Musicians and other program offerings help set the mood. As a member of nobility might expect, the menu can be combined with a high-quality beverage package. Even in the Middle Ages, there was a limited number of nobles, and this is also the case with nobility’s celebrations at the festival. There are only 50 places per evening for nobles. At the request of the kitchen master, the nobles can directly contact the castle kitchen if it concerns special diets, drink packages or other special arrangements. A carrier pigeon can be sent to [email protected]. In addition to the festival ticket, participation to the banquets requires a separate banquet ticket.

In the Cannon Tower, the buffet table overflows with delicacies at the Viking and folk banquets. There are seven varieties of delicacies; meat jelly, smoked beets, a whole cured pig brought to the smoker table, loafs buttered with real churn butter and much more. The cup-bearer fills your cup at the counter. In these feasts the laughter of more than 200 participants will fill the round Cannon Tower. In addition to the festival ticket, participation to the banquets requires a separate banquet ticket.
